
ExpatRide was founded in 2005 when our founder, Jesper Løvendahl, moved to New York and ran into a common expat challenge: leasing a car without a local credit history. Seeing a real gap in the market, he decided to fix it, creating a hassle-free way for expats to get reliable transportation abroad.
What began as a one-person mission has grown into a global team of 25 professionals across four offices, Miami, Copenhagen, Prague, and Manila, covering three time zones. From our roots in the U.S., we’ve expanded to 176 countries with a trusted network of 200+ suppliers.
