Internal Systems & IT/Automation Technologist - Prague, Czech Rep.

Location: 4 days in the office / 1 day remote

Background for the position:
We are a medium-sized international company with 15 years of experience in Global mobility industry (aka relocation). We have grown organically and our systems and processes with us.

We are now at a point where technology, data, automation and AI can help us work smarter, faster, and more intentionally, so we are searching for someone who will help us simplify, connect dots, and build things that actually get used. And as this is a new role, you’ll have space to shape it together with us.

About the role

You will be our go-to person for internal systems, automation and technical problem-solving. Mostly hands-on operator, but thinker and enabler as well. You’ll work closely with leadership and teams across the company to:

– improve how our systems work together
– reduce manual work
– enable better data-driven decisions
– introduce automation and AI where it makes sense

This is not a classic IT support role and not a pure engineering role. It’s a practical, impact-driven role at the intersection of business, systems and technology.

What you’ll be responsible for

Systems & Tools Ownership:
– Take ownership of our **internal systems ZOHO One ecosystem.
– ZOHO CRM, Books, Analytics, Campaigns and all the other related apps (incl. Deluge scripting, cross-module logic and integrations) + more apps from the pack to be included
– Identify process bottlenecks and design automations Reduce manual work and speed up workflows
– Act as the main technical point of contact (with occasional external vendors if needed).
– Ensure tools are structured, usable, and scalable.

Web & Platform Work:
– Own and develop our Webflow website
– structure, CMS, custom code, integrations
– fast reaction to implementation needs
– Eventually support and improve Microsoft Business Suite usage (SharePoint, OneDrive)
– structure, permissions, automation, workflows
– optimizing and scaling domain infrastructure

Data, Analytics & Decision Support:
– Help us become more data-driven (using the GA, ZohoOne Analytics and other sources)
– Improve data structure, visibility and logic

AI & Experimentation:
– Build and test AI agents and automations (e.g. for supply chain or internal use)
– Introduce experimentation in a thoughtful, pragmatic way
– Balancing innovation approach with stability

What success looks like

After 6-8 months in the role, we expect to have fewer manual processes and workarounds, while using more of the potential of the ZOHO One Apps. We are more streamlined in gathering and using the relevant data across teams for making more informed decisions and/or are able to test the business hypothesis thanks to a better data approach. The ongoing implementation of automations and AI tools will result in help people work faster and more effective.

Who we’re looking for

We’re looking for a mid-level technologist with strong hands-on skills, curios mindset with at least 2+ years of experience on a similar (or other tech related) position who is comfortable being “the IT person” in a small company.

You are likely someone who:

– Enjoys fixing systems and improving them step by step
– Can explain tech things to non-technical people calmly
– Pushes back when needed – respectfully and constructively
– Documents enough to keep things understandable and easy to find
– Learns fast and stays curious
– Takes initiative and ownership and can work independently

You are not

– An over-engineer who needs everything perfect
– A poor communicator being afraid of challenging discussions
– Someone who treats technology as an ego game

Skills & experience (practical, not checkbox-driven)

Solid experience with and strong curiosity in:

– Working with data, processes and system logic
– Automation and workflow design
– Webflow (including custom coding in JavaScript)
– Experience with Zoho One or other similar Integrated business/company platforms (CRM, Analytics, Deluge scripting, integrations)
– Building AI agents or AI-powered automations
– Scripting (Deluge preferred)
– Third-party automation tools + experience with scaling internal tools
