Background story
ExpatRide was established in 2011, by our CEO and Founder Jesper Løvendahl, after experiencing the challenges of moving to the U.S. from Denmark. When he relocated to New York in 2005, he struggled to lease a car, get a credit card, or rent a home – all because he didn’t have a U.S. credit score. This frustration sparked the beginning of ExpatRide. Jesper wanted to make it easier for other expats to settle into their new lives, without facing the same challenges. Today, we offer tailored global transportation services for employees on international assignments. We assist with everything from airport transfers, to rental and leasing cars, to VIP services.

We can arrange a chauffeur orientation service, where we will arrange a chauffeur to take the assignee around their new city to visit schools, view apartments, and even open a bank account. If elevated security is needed, we provide armored vehicles with trained drivers. We can organize personal chauffeur services for up to seven days a week. For group moves or project-based work, our bus and coach solutions cover team transfers and worksite commutes. And for senior executives, our VIP support team delivers a white-glove experience from door to door.
